Chris and I set off for northern Saskatchewan, taking a bit of a side trip through the historical seat of the Métis rebellion government in Batoche, north of Saskatoon. While it was well-document for what it was, it wasn't well-integrated into the rest of the history of the rebellion.
The sun came out near the end, which was nice, as I was prepared to be disappointed by the cloudy weather and rain that was hanging around when we pulled in.
