christmas eve mass

Posted by

We went to mass with my family in Regina today after a traditional meatless Ukrainian Christmas dinner. This is the ikonostas at the front of the church. This was my first experience with the 'new' priest after my childhood priest was forced to retire last year. I have to say, not so enjoyable - it was very old-fashioned, with only the choir and the priest really saying anything. No participation at all. I don't know if this was just because of Christmas or a regular feature, but I was not a big fan of it.
