I went to see Neil Gaiman and his wife, Amanda Palmer, tonight in one of the best nights of performances I've seen in a long time. Music, poetry, and stories made me laugh, cry, sing, and most importantly, think. Really, art did its job last night. I loved it. I got there later than I should have and got lucky in nabbing a single seat in the last row of the orchestra level. No pictures of the show, though, even though they encouraged it - I only had a point-and-shoot with me. It was a beautiful evening, though.
