ice ice baby

Ryan (Vancouver, Canada) on 8 February 2011 in Plant & Nature.

The sun was brilliant again today, so I went out and shot some macro pictures of the ice that's formed on the edges of the snow from the bright sun yesterday and the day before. This is the deck through a bubbly layer of ice.

I really like how ice looks, but I have trouble making it look interesting in photographs. I'd love to find out how to make it shine.

Oh, and big news - we're moving to Vancouver! I just got offered a job out there yesterday. Finally an end to snow pictures! Well, after this week, anyway. We've got organizing to do.
