There are some really nice old houses still around the Romeo area - the town does go back to the mid-1800s, after all. There are even supposed to be some Victorian mansions around.

That IS a Victorian Mansion. Especially if it's still one-family. There are quite a few of those in Bennington that have been split into apartments.

@Megan: Well, how about that! Chris said that there are a few around that are still one-family - this one probably is. There's a small oval sign next to the door that reads 1905 (I looked at the original photo) which means that's the date of building and that it's an historical house that's being kept up to historical building standards.
