We went on a taxi adventure with our friend Layne today. She runs Taxi Adventure and is in the process of getting the best taxista-recommended restaurants in the city. We had a taxi driver who loved to talk and who recommended an 80-year-old Spanish restaurant in Manhatten. It was quite good, actually, and the sangria we had was perfect for the hot summer day that was upon us today.
