Today we visited the huge National History Museum, which was full of amazing golden treasure, intricately detailed religious artifacts, and the history of Bulgaria in the 20th century, from kings to WWII. Unfortunately, they did not allow cameras inside, so I don't have photos of those things for you.

We did stop at a church in the morning, however, and watch a baptism in Bulgarian. A lot of the churches don't allow photographs either, but this one did. This is a bench from the side of the church. After the big, open mosques of Turkey, I find the churches dark and hard to photograph here...
