the narrow canyon

Posted by
Ryan (Vancouver, Canada) on 22 March 2010 in Landscape & Rural.

We awoke and breakfasted at the oasis, then headed out on camels. Pretty comfortable (though not the way Christine's was set up) and going at a pretty constant pace, we rode them first to the Narrow Canyon (pictured here showing why it deserves its name) then to the Red Canyon to enjoy more gorgeous swathes of colour. Camels are smelly, but I enjoyed riding them. Worth every penny.
