erased

Today was our temple day - Karnak, the largest temple in Egypt (despite claims that it's the biggest temple in the world, it's not - Angkor Thom holds that title), and Luxor, which was used for specific religious celebrations. Karnak won for being bigger and more interesting, that's for sure. We spent most of the day there, exploring nooks and crannies and trying to collect symbols to spell our names in hieroglyphs.

The photo shows how someone was erased from a photo. This is Hatshepsut, carefully wiped out of a picture showing gods pouring sacred water on her.
