the national mosque

Posted by

We went for nature and islam today - the orchid garden, the museum of islamic art and the national mosque. Gorgeous orchids (those I'll save for another day), cool islamic art and culture (we've been here before, but I really wanted to go back, especially as there was an exhibition by Steve McCurry, the guy who took the famous National Geographic picture of the Afghan girl with blue eyes), and a view inside the mosque (we've been outside and inside other places, but not inside this one before). A busy day, but a great final send-off from KL.
