This isn't the best picture, but it's hard to capture this right. When a new business opens, it's customary to have these big bouquets of flowers and messages of congratulations and so forth outside. It doesn't matter what the business is - tea shop, restaurant, doctor's office, bank - it's always the same. The flowers stay there for up to a week, then are whisked away to the garbage, while the congratulations flow to another new operation.
