Last night after the Fun Fair, I jumped in a friend's van and headed over to Taidong to participate in the marathon today. Running? Haha, not me, I just did the 5km fun run. I might have been able to do the 1/2 marathon (probably not), but I haven't trained at all. I had been planning just to go and enjoy the sight-seeing planned for the weekend, but the Fair popped up yesterday. I didn't want to just drop my commitment - a pet peeve of mine, especially here - so I just did the run. The fun run itself was mediocre, though nice to get out of Kaohsiung - the air is very fresh in Taidong because it is on the ocean.
