a parade for everyone

I went up to Taijhong with my kung fu teacher and his teacher and his teacher's school early this morning to participate in an all-day celebration and demonstration. A huge parade winds through the city and various groups dance or do kung fu or burn something or self-flagellate or whatever. I think it's for a god's birthday. It was tiring, especially after the show last night, but fun in the end. At least we had a good day! I slept for all of the driving time, morning and night. It was a very long weekend.

Oh, and this was a truckful of men dressed like women. Why? Celebration!
