It was Mother's Day preparation day at school today. In the morning we made cards and in the afternoon we made cakes. The school provided the cake and the icing and the kids had to bring candy from home to decorate it with (don't get me started on how cheap this school is, it really is ridiculous). The children all had a great time, though I can't imagine all the moms eating these sugar-coated cakes. I'm sure there will be a lot of hyper kids this weekend.
The child in the background shares my name. It's the first time in all my teaching years that I've taught a Ryan.
