the peak and down

Posted by

Well, we were off at 4AM, slogging through the dark and some rain. Some gave up and turned back. I nearly did. However hard it was, it was worth it when we reached the top. There's a false peak about 90 metres below and a kilometre away from the real peak. It's hard to keep going, especially when the wind and rain are whipping you. Everyone agreed, however - when were we going to be back?
