Last day on the island. These are the traditional boats that the people still build and sometimes use (I saw one out on the water when we went out for our last dives). They are used most in the spring during the flying-fish-catching festival.
The boat ride back was much better this time, though one of our group slipped on a boat and cut open her chin and the hospital on the island didn't have the experience to stitch it. Not so good from her. Upon arriving, however, we headed straight for the Canadian bar to have Thanksgiving Dinner, or as I've taken to calling it, Harvest Festival Dinner. Yum. Not the best I've ever had, but filled the void nonetheless.
