After a long day breathing in fumes of the Protim that I was using to de-bug some antique furniture at the antique house that Christine's uncle works at (some of it was worth upwards of $40,000!), I was ready for some natural things. He and I piled into the van to drive a couple of hours away to a quiet bay to pick up one of his kids. The skies cleared as we headed further west through the rolling green hills, seeing sheep, heather, cows, and many, many shades of green. As we came up over the last of the hills to descend into Schull (pronounced Skull), the sun gilded the entire landscape, giving me the most amazing sight I've seen in Ireland so far. I was in Irish heaven. We enjoyed a great meal and a terrific evening with kids running around and a few bottles of wine.
