overnight to la paz

We totally pulled a white flight from the festival, going from bus to bus and traveling overnight to La Paz with a group of track competitors. They introduced me to the raw power of coca with sodium bicarbonate. Anyway, got in and explored a little bit of town, including this main plaza right around the corner from our hostel. The cathedral is huge and the seat of government on the side has burnt to the ground twice. Also, the statue is of a president that was lynched here sixty years ago. What a town!
