the end of the festival

Well, our reason for staying in Sucre for so long finally arrived - the festival Pujllay in Tarabuco. Lots of singing and music and dancing, though it was all done in a parade line. Lots of beautiful costumes as well. And, of course, lots of people, but that's what makes it fun, right? It seems very organized for a festival. Here, one of the groups is dancing in front of the pukara, the offering to Pachamama - a ladder covered with food and drink and other things.
