welcome to el bolsón

Hippie capital of Argentina. Cheaper alternative to Bariloche. Absolutely gorgeous. El Bolsón is a small town tucked away beside the Andes that boasts a huge artist's market full of homemade foods (and beers!), handmade clothing, jewelry of all types, and almost anything else that can be made and sold. We took this as our last rest before heading off to the farm - hiking around the mountainous countryside, sampling the local wares, chilling out, and making new friends.

This statue is in the centre of the main park downtown. There is apparently a Carved Forest nearby that we didn't make it to, though it sounded interesting.
