a touch of the east

I visited the local mosque (largest in South America!) today with a student who wanted to take a tour of it. The guy giving the tour spoke the fastest Spanish I think I have ever heard. It's a great tour, though, taking extra time at the end to invite any and all questions and answering them. Allows people to ask any and all questions they have - one guy asked who wrote the Koran, another had questions about clothing, someone else asked about women's rights. Great way to help enlighten others. Very nice building, too.
