111 of 130 possible

Today we visited the Wanda mines, a mine carving out an old volcano. These stones are part of the rejects - only 1% of the stone they take out of the mines are used for real jewelery. The rest is the stuff sold as cheap souvenirs. There were some huge geodes - they had taken a geode out that morning that weighed 207 kg! They also mine 111 out of the 130 types of geodes found worldwide.

Anyhoo, a fun alternate trip, especially as the falls were full up on water again.
