ancient pottery

More from the museum yesterday as we did nothing but try to catch up on Internet stuff today.

I enjoy pottery as much as the next guy (well, actually, probably more), but nothing makes me more bored that a simple clay pot. I can understand their use in archaeology but if there's nothing there, I don't spend any effort on it. The pottery that these cultures had is amazing, however. Multi-stage, shaped like people and animals and who-knows-what, a lot of it was ceremonial and a lot of it is incredible. I don't tire of this stuff and love seeing it everywhere.
