We took a day trip out of the city to see where the spider-web lace that is all over in this city is made. We met this woman who gave lessons and ran the ñandutí workshop in town who was more than happy to chat with us. The piece she is working on takes about 15 days each time she does it. Wow! There were tablecloths and dresses for sale - I can't imagine how long they took.
