This is an organic farm (which is how we found them, though WWOOF - Willing Workers On Organic Farms), so everything is ready to go and can be eaten right out of the fields. In this case, as soon as I heard that there were wild mulberries growing in the area, I rushed out and picked (and ate) a bunch of them. There were the classic dark purple ones that I have seen before and also these white, extra-sweet ones. It's the perfect time for them right now and they are literally falling off the trees (helped by the double hailstorm we received today).
