cameras cameras everywherePosted by Ryan (Kaohsiung, Taiwan) on 17 November 2007 in People & Portrait. Being such a huge tourist draw, one must expect to see a lot of camera here, and boy howdy are there! Everything from point-and-shoot film numbers to the highest-resolution, fastest-shooting, newest-on-the-market digital pieces of technology are around, all trying to get that perfect glacier shot. This guy was professional. Nice guy. He even asked me to take his picture, which I took as a huge compliment - to be trusted with another photographer's camera is a big thing. At least for me. In the background is the Upsala glacier, the biggest one around. I don't remember the exact size in square kilometres, but I do know that it is four times as big as Buenos Aires. Huge to an unimaginable degree, though that seems to be the way of things down here. I walk around, continually amazed.
