to the market and away!

Well, we saw the Mercado - not quite what I'd hoped, though I was rather impressed by a small empanada stand with a terrific selection of empanadas in the back. Anyway, a quick walk around the downtown, and we're off to Punta del Diablo for some restive beach time in remote oceanic Uruguay!
