curious george, the curious little llama

Well, the trip has begun and we've arrived in Montevideo, Uruguay. We're only here a day, having been here before and here for the express purpose of visiting the Mercado del Puerto. As a side trip, we tried visiting the Planetarium, only to find it closed, so we went next door and visited the zoo in the rain. It was actually a pretty nice zoo, one I would recommend, anyway. I've definitely seen worse. They even have a type of Mongolian horse that is extinct in the wild. Things like that really get to me these days.

Anyway, Montevideo is a great city, really laid back. I rather enjoy this place.
