Well, we made it in after a 16-hour bus ride that didn't go so bad. Met up with friends and went exploring the city. The Plaza de Independencia is all lit up, including the Congreso (it's like Vegas - Independence! Independence!) and this cathedral. There was another church down the block that was bright white with black lights in the bell towers, making them look purple. It was nifty.
