So the paper I edit for has an image page every issue for some aspiring (or already established) photographer or visual artist. There have been a bunch of newsy-like photos showing life around the town, reflecting events happening (or just happened). Last issue (my favourite yet) was a graphic designer who created groupings of urban synonyms. It was very well done, IMHO.
For mine, I decided to use some of my pictures that I've been collecting throughout the Subte (finding out, in the course of putting this together, that a lot of them are minutely blurry and aren't good for anything but memories and newsprint). Might as well get some use out of them - what's the purpose of photography if no one ever sees it?
